INGLÉS

Hello, children! How are you?

Let’s continue revising the present simple tense!

Remember the affirmative form of the present simple tense:

When we talk about he, she or it, we add -s or -es to the end of the verbs.

  • Most verbs add -s: play-plays; write-writes.
  • Verbs ending in -o, -ch, -sh, -s, -x, or -z, add -es: go-goes; watch-watches; finish-finishes; miss-misses; mix-mixes; buzz-buzzes.
  • Verbs ending in consonant + -y change the y to an i and add -es: study-studies.
  • Some verbs are irregular: have-has; be-am/is/are.

Write about Dan’s week. Pay attention to the beginning of the sentences and use the correct verb form. Remember to include the time.

On Monday…

1. Dan gets up at half past seven.

2. Dan ___________________________________

3. Dan and Mark ___________________________

On Tuesday…

4. Dan ___________________________________

On Wednesday…

5. Dan ___________________________________

On Thursday…

6. Dan ________________________________________

On Friday…

7. Dan and Mark ________________________________________

On Saturday…

8. Dan ________________________________________

What do you do at the weekend? I play videogames with friends.
