Hello, children! How are you?
Let’s continue revising the present simple tense!
Remember the affirmative form of the present simple tense:
When we talk about he, she or it, we add -s or -es to the end of the verbs.
- Most verbs add -s: play-plays; write-writes.
- Verbs ending in -o, -ch, -sh, -s, -x, or -z, add -es: go-goes; watch-watches; finish-finishes; miss-misses; mix-mixes; buzz-buzzes.
- Verbs ending in consonant + -y change the y to an i and add -es: study-studies.
- Some verbs are irregular: have-has; be-am/is/are.
Write about Dan’s week. Pay attention to the beginning of the sentences and use the correct verb form. Remember to include the time.
